I plan to implement a project with an S7-1200 where I measure the electrical variables in the utility lines of a residence (voltage, current, frequency, power) and apply certain control actions in response to these variables. The utility is a 240VAC line with a central tap that renders two 120VAC lines with a 180 degrees phase shift.
I’ve never measured this type of variables using a PLC. I therefore write to ask for recommendations of what hardware to use for these measurements. I’ve read about the SIRIUS 3UF7110-1AA01-0 module, would you recommend this one for my application?
