Procedure for performing ICE bath test bath of standard temperature reference probe

ICE bath test is used for testing standard temperature reference probe .This test will show if the standard probe has drifted. Used in conjunction with a dry block calibrator for Temperature calibrations over the range of -30°C to +140°C.

Things required for performing ICE bath calibration - Flask,ICE,Standard Reference Probe 1.Crush the ICE and fill the flask. 2.The flask will be allowed to stabilize for a few minutes until the ice looks uniformly grey 3.Immerse the probe in the flask and stabilizing until the reading is stable to within 0.1°C. (Do not allow probe to touch the bottom of the flask) 4.Record reading.

Accepted error is +/- 0.2 deg C
