Procedure for performing ICE bath test bath of standard temperature reference probe

#1

ICE bath test is used for testing standard temperature reference probe .This test will show if the standard probe has drifted.
Used in conjunction with a dry block calibrator for Temperature calibrations over the range of -30°C to +140°C.

Things required for performing ICE bath calibration - Flask,ICE,Standard Reference Probe
1.Crush the ICE and fill the flask.
2.The flask will be allowed to stabilize for a few minutes until the ice looks uniformly grey
3.Immerse the probe in the flask and stabilizing until the reading is stable to within 0.1°C.
(Do not allow probe to touch the bottom of the flask)
4.Record reading.

Accepted error is +/- 0.2 deg C
