Solution : Windows based HMI activex error

This solution is for Windows based HMI. When you initialize or running HMI display script you can see Activex error or warning. It keeps popping up and irritating .You can avoid this problem with a registry edit.

Go to Registry Editor

Run “Regedit” command.

change the registry setting

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\0] :ActiveX controls and plug-ins->Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins “1200”=dword:00000000

:ActiveX controls and plug-ins->Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe “1201”=dword:00000000

:Miscellaneous->Allow scripting of Microsoft web browser control “1206”=dword:00000000

You can use this registry hack for all SCADA (HMI system ,DCS ) system regardless of manufacturer
