NetBios

NetBios is a set of windows protocols that provide basis of PC discovery,network browsing and file sharing.

NetBios Name service (UDP port 137)

NetBios diagram service (UDP port 138)

NetBios session service (TCP port 139)

NetBios is usually not needed to support PC to PLC communications.

NetBios is usually very important when using windows based services like OPC.
